"How GoodHides Was Born: My Journey from Architect to Entrepreneur”

Hi everyone!

I’m Sakina, the founder of GoodHides, and I wanted to take a moment to share the story of how this journey began.

I’m an architect by profession, but after having my kids, my priorities shifted. A couple of years later, when I was ready to return to work, I realized I needed a new bag. I had been using my baby bag for three years, and it was time for something stylish, professional, and functional.

When I started looking, I quickly noticed a gap in the market. Most options were the same boring brown or black bags. The ones I did like were way too expensive! That’s when it hit me—there was a niche waiting to be filled. Women like me, who wanted professional yet chic bags, didn’t have many options.

Instead of going back to work, I decided to take a leap of faith. I used my design skills, balanced my responsibilities as a mom, and poured my heart into building something meaningful. That’s how GoodHides was born—a brand created to empower professional women with bags that are stylish, versatile, and affordable.

The journey wasn’t easy. Starting a business from scratch with no experience, no knowledge of the industry, and two small kids wasn’t just a challenge—it was a transformation.

As they say, ‘Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, but from what you do consistently.’   
And every day, I reminded myself that small steps lead to big dreams.
